I chose lizard skin for my 92 mustang that I completely restored and I’m coyote swapping to use as a nice weather driver and to enjoy some car shows with my dad. I stripped the floor to bare metal where needed. Applied a two part epoxy. Let that dry for a week. Used SEM one urethane seam sealer where needed. Let that dry for a few days. Then applied sound control. I came back the next day to see the SC was peeling off of the seam sealer. This seam sealer is paintable immediately or days later I use it all the time. I’m an automotive painter. So I peeled it off and applied a primer/sealer then applied the ceramic coating. I think it should be in the directions that you must prime/paint over new seam sealer. It even peeled on some of the sealer that was many months old. Other then that it seems to be good. I only used lizard skin on the inside. The outside underneath is a SEM two part Tex coat. Then painted to match factory overspray. ... See MoreSee Less

I stripped to bare metal, completed necessary metal repairs, applied epoxy primer, 2 coats of LizardSkin Sound Control, 2 coats of LizardSkin Ceramic Insulation, then finished with base coat clear coat. ... WOW!!! That is an amazing job, we don't think rust is ever going to be a problem for that Datsun. Glad we could help out on the wet mil gauge. Thanks for being a customer, we can't wait to see the end result.
