W.O.W. - 2013

This time of year you can certainly check out the calendar or look out the window and see that the snow is melting but, the sure sign Spring is near is when the O'Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels rolls into town.  I was lucky enough to make it to the Chicago leg of the show and what a treat.  I guess it takes going into a show packed with people and sweet rides to make a gal realize just how long this dang winter has been.  As always the World of Wheels did not disappoint, my only regret is that I missed Al Bergler's Nitro Cacklefest!  Whether it was inside or out I'm not sure, but what I am sure of was it had to be awesome and I'm severely bummed I missed it.  Something I did see was the Roller Derby yep Roller Derby, a first for me.  I must admit I was expecting mild violence and maybe some bloodshed but it wasn't anything like that, lots of pushing and shoving and a couple of spills, thank God nothing more, I'm a bit soft.  It was an interesting addition to the show and the World of Wheels umbrella a little bit bigger.  There were car clubs galore, bikes and baby carriages even a 2013 Camaro on 30's, the full gamut.

Things in the Midwest get pretty bleak durning to winter months, not much to do inside or out so I tend to get a bit excited at a big show like this.  Here are some of the highlights, it's kind of hard to include it all, there was so much and in some sections the bass was so loud!

I just had to include this!

This one was either a day late and a dollar short or better late than never, I'll choose that latter.  Sorry for the delay friends.  Only 64 days until my first GoodGuys show.

Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
