World of Wheels Chicago 2016

I have three little words for you that pack a huge punch..... World of Wheels.  Yep friends, O'Riley Auto Parts World of Wheels steam rolled into Chicago this past weekend and what a welcome sight it was.  The quality and quantity at World of Wheels never disappoints and this year was no exception.  Street rods, hot rods, classics, customs,  show cars, race cars, daily drives and motorcycles galore all rolled into Donald E. Stevens Convention Center and put on a spectacular display.  The Roadster Shop, Rad Rides by Troy and Muscle Car Restorations were just some of the heavy hitters in the house.  Not to mention past and present Riddler winners.  Holy smokes the 2016 Riddler winner "Olds Cool"; let me tell you never has a '39 Olds looked so good.  One look at that baby and it's easy to see how it drove off with the top prize in Detroit.  World of Wheels is so much more than the top dogs.  To me what makes it great are all the clubs and individual enthusiasts bringing their rides out.  Not to mention Cycle Rama and Motor Rama.  Plus a Farm Truck and AZN sighting and Luke and Daisy Duke were there with the General Lee.  With all that and more going on it's easy to see why this Show of Shows in it's 54th year in old Chi Town.

Now cast an eyeball at what a reprieve from the no car show winter blues looks like.
