A great day at GoodGuys Chicagoland Nationals. What is there to say? There were about double the number of rides that were out yesterday, there was AutoCross action all day and there was live music by the Crown Vics, mix in a Cherry sno cone and some great converstion and I call it a 10. A bit of a bummer was Old Mother Nature busted up the fun a little early and the track ride didn't happen. And I might add I had a track ride in Brent Jarvis' awsome ISSC Gran National Champion '65 Vette - the award winning red one featured on our homepage - all set up! DANG!!! But, as you see there was so much packed into the day the rain really didn't change anything.
Some more of the cool things that were out at the Chicagoland Nationals. The wagon - seriously!
I must insert a few personal notes here. First , Brent - thank you so much for the offer for the track ride. I am still going to hold you to it. That darn rain! And Dick, there are more pictures of that awesome '41 Chevy in the "Most Recent Show Gallery" - check them out!
For the first time GoodGuys is opening up the show to All American cars tomorrow, I can't wait to see what shows up for that! Stay tuned.
"Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
