GoodGuys All American Nationals
New venue plus new format equals one great show. This is my first All American show and I think GoodGuys is on to something by making some of their National shows inclusive of all American makes or American powered rides. Passion comes in many shapes, sizes, makes and models. Like KruzinUSA.com, GoodGuys celebrates the passion that motivates someone to join the hot rodding community. Whether you bring a numbers matching '57 Chevy, a '49 Merc with a godzillion of mods or a 2014 Mustang GT500 straight off the showroom floor, there's passion fueling all the rides and that's what the All American Nats is all about. Mixing the old with the new might be everyone's cup of tea but I think it's great to have 20 something's rubbing elbows with the guys who have "been there" from the beginning. It's not time to pass the torch but it certainly is time to stoke the fire.
AutoCross was racing all day. Here are some of my favorites. I'm nuts about Roger Burman's new build. This Dart Rocks!
This is one Baaaaaaaad Caddy.
Last but not least, a first for me, a Yugo on the AutoCross. Tell me about it, an '87 Yugo! Don't worry, it's powered by a Caddy. Oh and by the way, it had the fastest time out there.
I've only been here a day and I can tell you I'm a fan of the All American Nats, and I reall like the State Fairgrounds as the venue. IMS was way cool but this is a good fit. To check out more from this GoodGuys event, have alook at the Most Recent Show Gallery.
Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
