Gears & Ears 2013
MSRA has it down; nearly 700 cars and a couple thousand ears of corn, really what more is there to say. As predicted, the 2013 MSRA Gears & Ears was a smash hit! This show is truly one of my favorites and for good reason. There is always an awesome turnout and the variety of rides rivals that of a National event. All are welcome and appreciated at Gears & Ears making it an all around great show with an equally great vibe. Everyone was just out to have a good time and admire the finery from the automotive world.
Here is just a short look at this years Gears & Ears.
Be sure and check back with us, we are working on adding the nearly 500 shots from Gears & Ears to the Most Recent Show Gallery. I might be a bit biased but I think it'll be worth your time.
A little birdie directed me to a special piece of automotive history that was at the show. The beautifully restored 1931 Ford Roadster "Cockroach" belonging to automotive designer, illustrator and avid collector Chris Ito. Chris painstakingly restored this beauty to it's original cover girl glory. Trust me friends, it was a sight to behold!
If you want to check out more on the "Cockroach" here is a great video with the man himself, Chris Ito talking about his ride.
What two words go better together than Good and Guys. Yes friends it's that time and KruzinUSA is heading west to the beautiful Iowa State fairgrounds for the GoodGuys Heartland Nationals. The AutoCross track there is huge and always exciting and don't forget the 4,000+ rides, add in some fireworks and a slice of apple pie and it sounds to me like a great way to celebrate the 4th of July weekend! Stay tuned.
Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
