Gears & Ears 2011

Gears  & Ears 2011 was a blast.  The Midwest Street Rod Association of Illinois sure knows how to put on a show.  The show is open to all car types but to me, it seemed heavy on street rods, customs and classics and there's nothing wrong with that.  There was something for everyone at the Kendall County Fairgrounds Sunday.  Not only were there the outstanding rides to admire, there was live music, tons of family activities, some ahem, activities for an older crowd,  and after all that excitement there were the ears and ears of fresh roasted corn.  Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday.  On a personal note, I don't think I have ever seen more El Caminos at one show before.  I counted 8!

Some up close video of the goods on Sunday.

I think the attendance topped out at almost 650 rides!  Here is the 1st part of the 800 shots I took Sunday.

There was so much at this show you'll be seeing more in the days to come.  Stay tuned!

Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
