Chicagoland Wrap Up.
It is always so hard to sum up an event, especially a Good Guys event that spanned three days. In a word; great. In many words; it was fantastic, I'm exhausted and I can't wait for the next one!
There was so much to see that it took me until Sunday to see this awesome '68 Camaro. Apparently I wasn't the only one that thought it was awesome because I saw it in the Winner's Circle! Go figure. That and the Ford Wagon "Stinger", I thought deserved a closer look.
They were able to get the track ride in Sunday, although the folks at the end had a bit of a wet ride. Of all things, I watched from Victory Lane. Gee, I finally made it to Victory Lane!
The Crown Vics played again Sunday and I have to say they are GREAT! So great, I have my calendar marked for an upcoming event in September. Check out their site for more info, they really put on a show!
Now have a look and a listen to some of the Sunday fun.
Another cool thing about Sunday at GoodGuys was it was Super Sunday, open to ALL American makes and models. So mix Super Sunday and the AutoCross and see for yourself what turned out. Yes, that is a '90 Blazer with a Ford front end.
Stay tuned for the photo wrap up of the Chicagoland Nats. I'm gonna try to let the pics do all the talking and not me.
Til the next time - Keep on Kruzin!
